Recently, at a routine crew meeting for the Arizona Exposition & State Fair, a representative of the Arizona State Fair Foundation surprised those in attendance with a larger-than-life check! The first of many to come, this check was made possible by generous donations from local Arizonans and funds raised through the Foundation’s first fundraising initiative, the Buy a Brick, Build the Fair Program. The Arizona Exposition & State Fair is delighted to announce this money will be used to fund capital improvement projects this summer, as it readies the Fairgrounds for this year’s Arizona State Fair, open Wednesdays through Sundays from October 10 to November 2, 2014.
The Buy a Brick, Build the Fair Program is an opportunity for fair attendees, fans, and partners to purchase commemorative bricks on the Fairgrounds. These bricks are customized with the buyer’s own personal message, celebrating millions of wonderful fair memories. Proceeds from this program go directly to the Arizona State Fair Foundation, formed to pursue fundraising opportunities for the Fairgrounds.
